The Blood Compact Site in Tagbilaran, Bohol is one of the most important sites in Philippine history. The place became the site for the first international treaty of friendship between the Spaniards and the Filipinos. The two people who united their blood for friendship between two races, cultures and religious were Rajah Sikatuna of Bohol and Miguel Lopez de Legazpi of Spain. Now, the notable event is considered as the ‘Sandugo’.
