Malakal Island

Malakal Island or Ngemelachel is located southwest of the former Palau capital city of Koror, where about 60% of Palau citizens live. It is connected to Koror by a bridge over the sea. On Malakal Island, there is a resort, Port of Palau, restaurants, shops, and a mosque, and it is a favorite place for a quiet walk because there is not much traffic here, and the ambiance is beautiful.
