Kayangel Island is located in the northernmost part of Palau. This small atoll forms the northern state of Kayangel. About a hundred people live on Kayangel, and nature is untouched. It is very popular among diving enthusiasts because of the lagoon and the surroundings that are rich in wildlife. The only problem can arise during transport to and from the islands because the islands can only be accessed through the lagoon, so if the waves are strong, small ships are not allowed to sail. If your visit is extended unplanned, at least you will be in a completely stress-free, beautiful setting.
