Ras Musandam Fjords
Often referred to as Norway of the Middle East, Musandam Fjords are the gem of the northern Musandam Penninsula in Oman. Physically divided from other parts of the country by the territory of the United Arab Emirates, the best way to get to this beautiful area is by fast ferry or air-link from Muscat. Shaped by the movement of Earth crust, scenery resembles glacier-shaped Norway fjords. Visitors can swim, snorkel dive, explore or sail on traditional dhows.
