Sagarmatha National Park is an area of about 1150 square kilometers and includes the highest peaks of the Himalayas, including Mt Everest, which is called Sagarmatha here. The park stretches from 2845 to 8848 meters above sea level. There is a Visitors Center here that is set up to make you want to climb the peaks because from Sagarmatha National Park Visitors Center you can see the mountain peaks of Thamserku (6608 meters), Ama Dablam (6856 meters), Nuptse (7861 meters), and Everest (8848 meters). Sagarmatha National Park has been on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list since 1979.
