Fewa Lake or Phewa Lake is the second largest lake in Nepal. The water level in the lake is regulated by a dam, so it is considered a semi-artificial. The largest city near it is Pokhara, advertised as the tourist capital of Nepal. The tourist part of the Pokhara, built on the shores of the lake, and which is simply called Lakeside, is the main tourist attraction of the lake. On Fewa Lake popular activities are water sports, paragliding, as well as a visit to the Tal Barahi Temple, located on the shores of the central part of the lake.
