Boudha Stupa

Boudha Stupa of Boudhanath is the largest spherical stupa in Nepal and one of the points of pride of Kathmandu. At the top of Boudha Stupa Buddha's eyes are painted, looking to all four corners of the world. This magnificent building was severely damaged in the 2015 earthquake. The repair, which cost two million dollars, was started immediately, and 30 kilograms of pure gold were used. Boudha Stupa dominates the panorama of Kathmandu and is an indispensable part of the visit of almost every tourist in Nepal.
