Hoba meteorite

Hoba meteorite is the largest known intact meteorite, with a mass estimated at 66 tonnes. Located in the northern part of Namibia, the Hoba meteorite is a true attraction to visit, since scientists believe its impact occurred not more recently than 80.000 years ago. It was discovered in 1920 when the owner of the land was plowing fields on his farm.
