Xcaret Park is an ecological theme park lying on an area of 81 hectares with many attractions. Park's name came after the eponymous archeological site of the Mayan civilization, so many attractions are related to the pre-Columbian history of Mexico. During the land preparation for the construction of the park, cenotes (collapsed caves) were found. At the same time, the Mayan pyramids at the archeological site within the park have been restored. There are also aquariums with sea turtles, pavilions with bats, butterflies, swimming with dolphins, and many other attractions. Visitors consider this park to be one of the best family tourist facilities in Mexico.
