One of the less-visited tourist pearls of the far east of Mexico is San Miguel de Cozumel. Located in the Caribbean Sea, Cozumel Island features charming architecture, beautiful beaches, and the scents of Caribbean cuisine that leave few indifferent. Visitors point out as an advantage the absence of crowds, pushy sellers, the hustle and bustle of big cities. San Miguel is the largest community on the island. Everything here is relaxed, subordinated to real rest, and enjoyment. But even those who like a more active vacation will not be bored. In addition to beautiful beaches, there are water sports, diving on coral reefs, an island rich in history and culture, and traces of Mayan civilization. Be sure to visit the exhibition of large murals, better known as Sea Walls.
