Vianden Castle

And if you decide to follow the advice, already on arrival you will understand why it is so popular. The first thing you will see is a magnificent medieval castle, in the middle of the forest between the hills. Built between the 11th and 14th centuries, this gem of architecture greeted the 20th century as a ruin, so it was thoroughly reconstructed to its present condition. Nowadays, it is a real magnet for tourists who can get acquainted with the history of the castle, its rulers, and the history of this area, but also enjoy the views of nature that surrounds Vianden.
