Sani Pass is located in eastern Lesotho and is one of the steepest mountain passes in this part of the world. One side of the pass is in Lesotho and the other in the Republic of South Africa, so the Sani Pass is also a border crossing. The road is made of gravel and stones, so only 4x4 vehicles are allowed. In just 9 kilometers length of the mountain pass, the altitude difference is 1332 meters. The highest point is at 2876 meters. The adventure of traveling this road attracted journalists, and after their stories, many tourists came to check up this pass.
