Chūbu-Sangaku National Park

In the center of Honshu island lies Chūbu-Sangaku National Park, one of the country's most spectacular parks, designated a national park back in 1934. The region contains some of the highest peaks in the country and the most important hiking area in Japan. The park's many hot springs also draw many visitors to the area.
