St Mark's Campanile

One of the most recognizable symbols of the city, St Mark's Campanile is a bell tower almost 100 meters high. Each of the five bells of the campanile had a special purpose. Once a lighthouse and a watch tower, Campanile was rebuilt in the early 20th century, since it collapsed after surviving several earthquakes and fires. It’s open for visitors, giving you an opportunity for a once-in-a-lifetime view of Venice.
