Cinque Terre (five lands) is a picturesque coastline consisting of five villages. Over the centuries, people have built terraces on the steep landscape up to the cliffs that overlook the sea, painting their homes in vibrant colors and making this area extremely popular tourist destination. Laying on the Mediterranean coast, Cinque Terre is a great spot for gastronomic tourism and filmmakers recognized this area as well - Martin Scorsese 2013 The Wolf of Wall Street was filmed here.
