Kaziranga National Park
Kaziranga National Park, located in the eastern state of Assam, is home to the world famous one-horned rhinoceros. The park is covered with tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical forest with four major rivers flowing through it. Visitors can explore the park through guided tours on an elephant or jeep. Observation towers are set up at strategic places for watching the wildlife. Public transport system connects the park to the rest of Assam.
