Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is composed of 3 parts, Buda, Obuda (Old Buda), and Pest. They are divided by the river Danube, with eight bridges over the river in the city area. A smaller section of the city, Buda with Obuda, has the Gellért Hill elevation that rises not far from the banks of the Danube. The Citadella was built on the top of this hill in 1851 by the Austro-Hungarian authorities. This place offers a view of the vastness of the city. Visitors spend hours shooting beautiful scenes of the Budapest panorama.
