Acatenango

Acatenango is a stratovolcano placed in southern Guatemala. It has two vents at altitudes of 3976 and 3880 meters above sea level. Climbing to the top of a volcano involves passing through unique ecosystems at different altitudes, and thus different sceneries below and above the cloud line. Many visitors agree on one thing - the experience is worth the effort!
