Petite Martinique is part of the Carriacou and Petite Martinique group of islands that fall under the territory of Grenada. The island is of volcanic origin with an area of 2.37 square kilometers. For that reason, it is often jokingly said: "There are peace and quiet on this island and there is no room for anything else". The inhabitants (about 900 of them) are engaged in fishing, making boats, and boat taxiing. They are always hospitable to the visitors to this little paradise!
