Vardzia

Situated in southern Georgia, Vardzia is a spectacular 12th-century cave monastery, once completely hidden and later exposed by several earthquakes. Today the whole area is Historical–Architectural Museum-Reserve, consisting of sites of monumental art, archeological and architectural sites.
