Chiatura

Chiatura is a very visited place of interest due to the unusual transport method. It was founded as a mining colony and due to the steep-sided river valley, cable car system was installed to transport workers around the valley. Most of the cable cars became rusted, but some of them still work today as a form of public transportation.
