Tavuni Hill Fort

Near the mouth of the Sigatoka River into the ocean, on the left bank of the river lies Tavuni Hill Fort. At this place, in the 18th century, there was a fortification built by Tongan chief Maile Latumai, which was later destroyed. Now there is a picnic area with a beautiful view of the river and green undulating hills that are breathtaking!
