Samaná Bay

Samaná Bay and Samaná Peninsula represent a perfect area for nature lovers. Each winter humpback whales visit this bay to mate. This area is also a nesting site for pelicans and frigate birds. The second largest river in the country - The Yuna River flows into Samaná Bay. One of the most memorable landmarks of the area is Bridge to nowhere, leading to an uninhabited island in the Samana Bay.
