Riva
Riva, a Split waterfront is an iconic place and it is the right place to see the best of Split. This is where all the events take place. Starting from long walks by the beach to New Year’s Eve celebrations and sports events. What makes this place so special is that it is an urbanized, open, and accessible public space with a lot of spirits and a beautiful view of the sea. It is the ideal place for having the morning or afternoon coffee, or for an evening out with friends over drinks. In order to see the Riva at its best, it should be visited in time of Sudamja, a celebration dedicated to St. Domnius, the patron saint of Split. The event traditionally occurs on the 7th of May, each year.
