Ajaccio

Ajaccio is the largest settlement on the island and birthplace of the French most famous person and Emperor of France, Napoléon Bonaparte. His ancestral home, the Maison Bonaparte, is now a museum and a definitely a must-see place in Corsica. Beautiful architecture is present throughout the city, attracting many visitors all year around.
