Garamba National Park

The oldest national park in the Democratic Republic of Congo is Garamba National Park. In its area of 5200 square kilometers, many animal species find refuge, although constant efforts are being made to eradicate poaching. Rhinos, gorillas, and many other endangered species can still be seen here in their natural habitat. The park is under UNESCO protection.
