Santuario Virgen de Las Lajas
Santuario Virgen de Las Lajasis is a cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary, located near the town of Ipiales, in the area of Nariño. It was built in 1949. This building is a fantastic blend of architecture and nature, as well as legends from the Christian tradition. The entrance to the cathedral is via a beautiful bridge that rises 50 meters above the Guáitara River while the top of this building stands 100 meters above the canyon.
