Pirin National Park

Pirin National Park is a Bulgarian national treasure and one of the three national parks in the country. This UNESCO protected area of outstanding natural importance features amazing 118 glacial lakes, thick forests, and hundreds of animal and bird species. Vihren is the highest point of Pirin National Park with an elevation of 2,914 meters, Bulgaria's second-highest summit.
