Cathedral Saint Aleksandar Nevski is a symbol of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Located in the very heart of the city, it serves as the cathedral church of the Patriarch of Bulgaria. Covering more than 3170 square meters, the cathedral remains the main attraction point and it is believed to be one of the top 50 largest Christian churches in the world.
