Chomolhari or Jomolhari is a mountain in the Himalayas, also known as "The bride of Kangchenjunga". Chomolhari is standing on the border between Tibet, China, and Bhutan, representing a sacred place to Tibetan Buddhists. The first ascent took place late - in 1937. Buddhists believed it is impossible to climb on it and anyone attempting to get too high would be thrown down.
