Lamanai Archeological Reserve lies along the west bank of the New River Lagoon. This site was once a major city of the Maya civilization. Excavations at the site began in 1974 but most of the site is unrestored. Visitors today can see Jaguar Temple, Mask Temple, and High Temple with stunning details and overall amazing energy this spot radiates.
