Durbuy Castle is located in the southern province of Luxembourg. On this spot, there have been castles since 889, but it has been destroyed many times in its history. The current caste dates back to 1880. The castle is private property and is not open to the public. Durbuy is often promoted as the smallest city in the world, because in 1331 the Durbuy was elevated to the rank of city by John I, Count of Luxemburg, the King of Bohemia.
