Mount Pico

As the highest peak of Portuguese territory and one of the highest Atlantic mountains, Mount Pico dominates the like-named island of Azores. This stratovolcano offers some of the best panoramic views on a sunny and clear day and the entire route to the summit is well marked, offering outdoor activity even for those who are not advanced hikers.
