Tatev Monastery

Tatev Monastery is a 9th-century monastery located on the plateau of a deep gorge and a very popular tourist destination in Armenia. This monastery was used as a university and played a significant role in the history of the region. Many visitors take advantage to get to the monastery using the longest non-stop double track cable car, called Wings of Tatev.
