Betty's Hope Historic Sugar Plantation

Back in the 17th century, Betty's Hope was one of the first sugar plantations in Antigua. Today, Betty's Hope Historic Sugar Plantation is a monument of Antigua's role in British colonial history. Two large stone windmills and a stillhouse serves as an open-air museum, allowing visitors to learn more about the sugar-making process and the hardships of the African slaves.
