Parque Nacional do Quicama or Quiçama National Park, also known as Kissama National Park is placed in northwestern Angola and is the only national park in Angola. There was a 25 year period of serious poaching during the civil war. In the year 2001 group of Angolan and South African conservationists started project Noah Ark to transport animals from Botswana and South Africa. This project was the biggest of this kind in the world. Elephants, giraffes, and lions are the main attraction in this park, but the number of animals is still climbing to its natural state.
